Block or red brick?
Hollow block is the standard in Morocco: economical, quick to lay. Red brick is more used for partitions and aesthetics. Thermopierre is the future (integrated insulation) but remains costly.
Is render needed on a block wall?
Yes, render is necessary to protect the block from weather and ensure waterproofing. Count 1.5-2 cm thickness, about 25-30 MAD/m2 supplied and applied.
How to improve block wall insulation?
