FAQ

Multibéton vs Lafarge Béton vs Holcim Béton: which one?

All 3 are technically equivalent (same NM 10.1.008 ready-mix standards) with certified QC labs. Criteria: plant proximity (transport saving, fresher concrete), slot availability, negotiated price (5-10% variation by volume/history). Lafarge/Holcim Béton (merged): denser national grid. Multibéton: often more flexible for individuals/small volumes.

Cost to pour a 100m² slab?

100m² × 0.15m thick (standard ground floor) = 15m³ C25/30 concrete. Multibéton delivered: 15 × 1,100-1,350 = 16,500-20,250 MAD. + rebar (ST25 mesh + ties): 4,000-6,500. + labor pour/finish: 1,500-3,000. + formwork: 800-2,500. Total: 23,000-32,000 MAD (230-320 MAD/m²).

Should I pump the concrete or use wheelbarrows?

Wheelbarrow: OK for <10m³ with toupie access <30m. Count 2 workers/m³/hour (10m³ = 2 workers × 5h = 10 man-hours). Pumping: recommended for >10m³, upper floors (>R+1), difficult access. Pump cost: 250-450 MAD/m³ + 800-1,500 callout. Gain: 30-50m³/hour pumped vs 5-10 wheelbarrow.

Lead time order to delivery?

Ideal: book 48-72h before pour. Urgent (D+1): possible but limited slots, sometimes 5-10% surcharge. Cancel: 24h before min (else truck flat fee 500-1,000 MAD). Weather: rain/strong wind/<5°C or >35°C can delay. D-1 confirm with Multibéton. Truck waits 1h on site, beyond: 200-400 MAD/h.
