C1: ≥0.5 MPa adhesion, dry interior, <30×30cm tiles. C2: ≥1 MPa, deformable, mandatory for large format (60×60+), exterior, bathroom, heated floor. C2 costs 40-60% more.
Bags per 100 m²?
Tile adhesive: 4-5 kg/m² (6mm trowel) to 8-10 kg/m² (10mm large format). For 100m²: 16-40 bags of 25kg. Grout: 0.3-0.8 kg/m². Add +10% margin.
Site-mix mortar?
Masonry: yes, 1 cement + 3 sand + 0.5 water (CPJ45+ cement). Tile: NO, ready-mix mandatory (polymer additives can't be site-dosed). Site-mix saves 30-40% on masonry but not for glued tile.
How to choose exterior mortar?
