Difference CTBX, CTBH, marine?
CTBX = exterior glue (class 3, occasional moisture, standard formwork). CTBH = humid high-resistance glue + hardwood (class 2-3, humid fittings). Marine WBP = rot-proof phenolic, all-essence multilayer, class 4-5 partial immersion (bath, kitchen, boat). Marine costs 2.5-4× CTBX but unlimited life in humid.
Okoume formwork reuses?
Plain okoume CTBX: 5-8 reuses. With release oil each cycle: 10-15. Black/brown phenol film-faced birch: 15-25 (coating protects). For large sites (R+3+), film-faced pays off despite 2× initial cost. Always store sheltered (rain + sun degrade glue).
Slab formwork thickness?
Slab ≤ 18 cm concrete on beams: 18 mm okoume sufficient (with 50 cm spacers). Slab 20-25 cm or free span > 60 cm: 22-25 mm okoume or 18 mm film-faced birch. Vertical wall/web: 18 mm standard.
