Compare price ranges by packaging unit (bag, m², m³, lm, kit).
Precast tile: cheap (180-380 MAD/m²), fast install, limited colors/sizes, visible joints every 40-60cm. Poured: 100% custom (free colors/grains/patterns), monolithic appearance, superior durability, but 2× pricier and 7-15 days (prep, pour, polish). Standing villa: poured. Budget: tile.
Marble: 100% noble stone, 800-3,500 MAD/m², unique look but sensitive (scratches, acid stains, heavy upkeep). Terrazzo: composite (marble chips + cement/resin), 180-650 MAD/m², similar high-end look, 3-5× cheaper, more shock/stain resistant, more modern designs possible.
Kitchen: excellent (good acid resistance, use granito-specific sealer). Bath: yes but prefer epoxy resin terrazzo (fully waterproof) or cement with deep hydrofuge. R10-R11 anti-slip possible. Always seal pores after install. Avoid pure bleach (dulls surface), use neutral pH.
Daily: broom/vac + damp mop with mild soap or terrazzo wax. Every 5-10yr: re-apply pore sealer + protective wax. Every 10-20yr: light sanding + new finish (looks new). NO: pure bleach, acids (vinegar, descaler), abrasives. Stain: neutral pH stone cleaner. Poured terrazzo life: 50-100yr with minimal care.
Standard industrial tile 40×40: 50 × (180-280) = 9-14k MAD mat + 4-7k labor = 13-21k total. Poured cement terrazzo: 16-22.5k mat + 6-9k labor = 22-31.5k. Venetian custom: 22.5-32.5k mat + 6-9k labor = 28.5-41.5k. Add plinths 30-40lm: +8.5-18k MAD.
